Elfi - long-term support for educators in integration

The project "Elfi" is aimed at parents with guaranteed childcare who want to return to working life and are given individual support and advice.

Target group

Both male and female educators with a minimum language level of A2. Childcare for this target group is
at least in the morning. The youngest child is no older than 12 years.

Goals

The Elfi project aims to support educators after their parenting time to successfully return to work with children.

Content & Services

• Removing barriers to employment: Together we eliminate barriers that could stand in the way of a new career start.
• Questioning cultural structures: We offer space for reflection and support in overcoming cultural barriers.
• Help for self-help, daily structure with children: Together we develop strategies for a successful work-life balance and support in organizing daily life with children.
• Career orientation and qualification
• Back to work: We accompany you through the first steps back into working life and help you gain a foothold in the job market.
• Application coaching and individual placement support
• Expansion of an aid network
• Expanding childcare hours: We help find flexible childcare solutions so that work and family life can be easily combined.
• Internship: Gain practical insights and valuable experience through a targeted internship.

Duration & Course

The duration of the program is six months, with the option to extend by a maximum of three months. Individual coaching sessions of one hour per week will be coordinated with you individually. Group training sessions and elective modules are offered in the mornings or afternoons (Monday - Friday). You will also complete a company placement during your participation.
