Vocational preparation measures [BvB]
With the vocational preparation program [BvB], we improve the chances of young people to find an apprenticeship or a job.
Target audience
The offer is aimed at young people who are looking for training or employment, have no initial vocational training and have completed compulsory full-time schooling.
Goals
- Preparation and integration into training or employment
- Possibly preparation for obtaining a secondary school leaving certificate at a later date.

- Competency analysis at the beginning of the measure
- Career guidance / career choice
- Job application training
- Telephone training
- Language support
- Company internships and company visits
- General education and subsequent acquisition of the secondary school leaving certificate
- Workshops to strengthen basic skills
- Acquisition of professional knowledge and skills
- Completion of qualification modules and project work
- Excursions
Duration & Course
Entry into the vocational preparation program (BvB) is generally possible at any time after consultation with the employment agency. The duration depends on individual progress and is usually limited to twelve months.
Financial support
The funding is provided by the Federal Employment Agency.
