Vocational preparatory training measures [BvB]

With the vocational preparatory training measure [BvB] we improve the chances of young people finding a training position or a job.

Target group

The offer is aimed at adolescents and young people who are looking for training or a job, have no initial vocational training and have fulfilled general full-time compulsory schooling.

Goals

• Preparation and integration into training or work
• If necessary, preparation for the subsequent acquisition of the secondary school certificate
• If necessary, preparation for the subsequent acquisition of the Realschulabschluss

• Competency analysis at the beginning of the measure
• Career orientation / career choice
• Application training
• Telephone training
• Language support
• Company internships and company shadowing
• General education and subsequent acquisition of the secondary school certificate
• Workshops to strengthen basic skills
• Acquisition of professional knowledge and skills
• Completion of qualification modules and project work
• Excursions

Duration & Course

Entry into the BvB is generally possible at any time after consultation with the employment agency. The duration depends on the individual's progress and is generally limited to twelve months.

Financial support

The funding is provided by the Employment Agency.
