Career starters

Career Starter is aimed at teenagers and young adults who have not yet successfully entered training or employment. Through project-based work, tailored support programs, and individualized mentoring, we help them better understand their strengths and weaknesses. Through project work, we activate and motivate participants and guide them toward training or employment.

Target group

The target group includes young people under 25 years of age, who

• have fulfilled compulsory full-time education,
• have no initial vocational training and
• cannot, or cannot yet, be integrated without this support due to personal reasons.

Goals

• Preparation for the transition to further qualification offers such as a vocational training measure or
• Preparation for starting training

Content & Services

• Introductory phase to get to know each other and to determine your individual situation
• Project approaches in the areas of wood, metal, paint and household economics for suitability assessment and testing
• Getting to know operational practice and everyday work under realistic conditions within operational phases
• Career orientation and introduction to the training and employment system
• Suitability for everyday life with practical assistance
• Preparation of application documents and application training
• Addiction and debt prevention
• Basics of a healthy lifestyle
• Participant-related home visits and involvement of the social environment

Expanding job-related language skills

Duration & Course

6 months, extendable to a maximum of 12 months. Part-time participation is possible.
