KomBer 2 [Combination of vocational language training with employment support]

The "KomBer 2" project [combining vocational language training with employment promotion] combines a vocational language course with a measure pursuant to Section 45 of the German Social Code (SGB III). Through this project, we support our participants in overcoming barriers to employment and securing employment subject to social security contributions.

Target group

  • Migrants from EU countries or with a residence permit and
  • Persons with a residence permit from Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Somalia and Syria without a ban on employment,
  • Persons tolerated according to Section 60a Paragraph 2 Sentence 3 Residence Act
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Integration course has already been completed [Language level A1 GER]

Goals

  • Introduction to the training and labor market,
  • Identification, reduction or removal of barriers to placement,
  • Support in integration into the labor market.

Content & Services

The project combines a job-related language course with modules for introducing young people to the training and labor market and for labor market integration.

  • Internships for operational testing [5-6 weeks in total] full-time
  • Support in dealing with the BA job exchange and its functions

The total duration of the measure is 24 weeks.
